What is Fueling Brains ?

Fueling Brains is an early childhood education system and technology platform
focused on building young children’s executive function and whole-brain
development, especially in the preschool and early elementary years

Fueling Brains combines a research-based curriculum, classroom model, and software
tools to help schools and districts assess, track, and accelerate children’s executive
function skills such as inhibitory control, working memory, and cognitive flexibility.

how you learn

It’s about how you learn

Fluid intelligence is the ability to think quickly and logically to solve new problems without relying on what has been memorized before. It is about spotting patterns, reasoning abstractly, and adapting to unfamiliar situations on the spot

How we achieve

Aim to build a society where children can grow up to become a balanced leaders who cares for their people, creative genius who bring sustainable solutions to the world problems and logical wizards
who play positive role in the greater community

1

Intelligence Tracking

State of art tool to
guage how an
individual child’s brain
is developing across 9
different metrics

2

Focus on developing EF

The tracking system allows us
to further use the data to
evaluate the child’s EF
development and increment
on a time to time basis

3

3-in-1 LRM

Once we get a clear picture of
the child’s EF development,
using our 3-in-1 curriculum we
develop a gap bridging plan to
facilitate the growth

Proven Benefits & Impact

Proven Benefits & Impact

Improved academic achievement and literacy outcomes
Increased prosocial behavior and reduced disruptive behavior
Enhanced resilience for children experiencing early adversity
Better focus, problem-solving, and emotional regulation
Accelerated learning speed and information processing

Executive Functions

Executive functions are a set of mental skills that help children set goals, get along with others, avoid distractions, and take initiative when properly balanced. These skills form the foundation of school readiness and learning and are organized into three interconnected domains: inhibitory control, working memory, and cognitive flexibility.

Inhibitory control

The ability to suppress
impluses, distractions, or
automatic responses to focus
on what’s important

Working Memory

Ability to plan daily activities, organize thoughts to complete tasks, and hold new information in mind so it can be turned around and used in other ways

Cognitive Flexibility

Switching between tasks, adapting to new rules or environment, and shifting perspectives

Evaluation Framework

Evaluation Process

Evaluation Cycle

The evaluation cycle in Fueling Brains involves scheduled, observation-based evaluations of children’s executive functioning skills across three domains. Teachers record ongoing observations using methods like checklists, anecdotal notes, and work samples, labeling proficiency as developing, progressing, or mastering.

Frequency

Assessments occur every six weeks throughout the academic year, generating brain scores, intelligence area breakdowns, and neurocognitive age data via the Fueling Brains app. This timing aligns with six-week strategies that recommend targeted activities to address gaps identified in prior cycles

Scoring Levels

Scoring System

Group 1321314690

Brain Score

It is a readiness-to-learn indicator. Brain Score reflects how well inhibitory control, working memory, cognitive flexibility, self-monitoring, task initiation, and related skills are functioning, which together determine how ready a child is to benefitfrom classroom learning.

Group 1321314692

EF Score

In Fueling Brains, an executive functions score is the summary of how well a child is doing across all the key EF skills (like impulse control, working memory,
flexibility, self‑monitoring, etc.), using the Developing / Progressing / Mastering levels.

Intelligence Area Score

Total score of all skills of the each intelligence areas

Classification

Animal Persona - Students

Animal persona is the child’s learning-and-behavior style shown as an animal character, based on their executive functions and classroom behavior patterns. It gives a quick, friendly picture of how the child moves, focuses, reacts to change, and manages feelings, and is used to choose helpful strategies rather than to judge the child

Classroom Journey - Classroom

Classroom Journey in the Fueling Brains model is the step‑by‑step progression a class follows across the year through four phases: Training Wheels, Normalcy, Normalization, and Differentiated Learning, each with specific goals for executive functions, behavior, and academics.

Neurocognitive Age

Neurocognitive age describes how a child’s attention, problem‑solving, memory, language, and self‑regulation are developing relative to typical patterns for young children. In Fueling Brains, this is organized into stages (Explore, Discover, Curious, Investigate, Deep Learning) that show how children move from using their senses to ask “why” questions and eventually solve problems independently

Fueling Brains Roles

Define the different user access levels within the platform, ensuring that administrators, educators, and staff can securely manage content, track progress, and support children’s nutrition and learning activities efficiently.
